World Championship 2022
ORC Double Handed
Royal Swedish Yacht Club (KSSS) hosted the first ever ORC Double Handed World Championship in July 2022, as a part of Gotland runt. Doublehanded, or sea racing with a two-man crew, is growing strongly and is currently a discipline in Olympic sailing. In this year’s Gotland Runt 77 boats started in Stockholm with the destination Sandhamn, through Hoburgen on the southern tip of Gotland.

WORLD CHAMPIONS 2022
The Z30+ crew consist of Martin Strömberg and Anders Dahlsjö, two of the most experienced and qualified people in the Swedish ocean racing sails scene. Martin Strömberg has, among other things, sailed four laps around the world in the Volvo Ocean Race while Anders Dahlsjö’s track record includes two challenges in America’s Cup. In July they won the gold medal in class A in the first World Championship in ORC Double Handed.
